About me

I am Ange, I’m originally from Manchester, now live in Derbyshire and I shoot live music. It all started when I bought an SLR camera back in 2016, and just did a little bit of nature and landscapes photography. My real passion is music, so I thought I would put this together with photography and my new hobby was born.

I started to shoot small bands and festivals then focussed on the big guns. My first big gig was Wayward Sons at the Manchester Apollo in Jan 2018. I was so made up to have a photo pass confirmed for this. They were supporting Steel Panther too – amazing! When I got there, my pass stated “support act only” huh, but what the hell, I was down the front at the Apollo shooting the Sons!! I have shot Steel Panther twice since 🙂

From there I’ve been lucky enough to shoot loads of upcoming and established rock bands and big festivals such as Download, Ramblin Man Fair, Stonedead Festival and many more. Big names I have added to my portfolio include Foreigner, Airbourne, Skindred, Steel Panther to name a few. The best feeling is when you get to shoot one of your favourite bands – Blackberry Smoke. Just to see your idols close up, shoot them and boogie along in the pit is the ultimate in photo pass goals!

I have met many lovely people in the music business through my work, and I am honoured to know them and keep in touch with a lot of them. I have mithered many a press company for photo passes, and would like to thank all of them and the bands for the amazing opportunities I have had, and are yet to have. I hope to continue my passion and hope it helps gain some exposure for bands.
