I got to venue early for 5-piece Liverpool garage-blues rock band The Heavy North. I am glad I did, I really liked these, they’ve got a fab soulful 70’s sound going on. They have a brand new album (Fire In the Furnace) due for release in August, give them a follow and check them out!
The night was Dirty Honey’s, this being about the 4th time I have seen them. I was at their debut UK show at Download in 2022, and since they have played many shows in the UK and worldwide. The 4-piece California based rock band have made quite an impact on the rock scene, bringing their energetic cool, bluesy, sexy, soulful rock with plenty of swagger. You can hear the inspirations in their music from the likes of Aerosmith, Rolling Stones and The Black Crowes. A great mixture of all these and I give you a fantastic rock show, I recommend going to see these boys.
